Late C18 pair of shops. 2 storeys and semi-basement. One window each. Slated
roof with coped gables central ridge stack and kneelers. Squared coursed grit
stone rubble. Flush framed sash windows with glazing bars to 1st floor. Good
segmental bowed shop windows with pilasters carrying entablature with dentil
cornice and original small panes (30 lights). Round-arched shop doorways with
voussoirs, architraves and raised and fielded and panel doors approached by steps
with wrought iron railings. Included II* for shopfronts.

Nos 29, 30 and 35 form a group.
