GV II
House. Probably early to mid C18, extended at rear in C19 and C20. Painted rendered
stone rubble and cob. Bitumenized hipped slate roof. Rendered stack at left end and
to rear of right-hand room.
Plan: main range has principal room to each side of wide passage containing
staircase on left side. Wing added probably in C19 and formerly used as shop extends
from rear right side creating overall L-shape plan, with early C20 kitchen outshut to
rear left side of main range.
Exterior: 2 storeys. 2-window range. All 12-paned horizontal sliding sashes. Early
C20 porch with gabled slate roof and 4 panelled inner door, the upper 2 panels
glazed. C20 shop window to outer face of rear wing.
Interior: fireplaces concealed by C20 grates. C19 joinery mostly intact.
