Manor house, C17 or earlier origin, remodelled early C18 with further alterations and extensions of the C19 and C20. C18 work probably for Lord Londonderry. Flint and rubble walls, partly rendered, with ashlar dressings. Tiled roofs with ashlar stack left and brick stacks to rear of ridge. C18 front originally symmetrical. Two storeys with attics and basements, five bay with C19 two storey bow to the right. Eaves parapet with moulded cornice. Twelve-pane sashes under square heads with keystones. Upper floor central window has moulded architrave. The outer bays are flanked by bull's eye windows in each storey. Hipped dormers. Central rusticated doorcase with panelled door.

Internal features (RCHM): ground floor, south-west room has open fireplace with chamfered bressummer with rounded shoulders and raised centre; same room is lined with C17 panelling; one upper floor room has a moulded stone fireplace surround with a rounded head and another has an C18 fireplace with a bolection moulded surround.
