Cottage. Late C17-mid C18. Probably square-panelled timber
framing, now pebbledashed; limestone plinth; thatched roof with
decorative ridge thatching; one C20 brick stack, one C18 brick
stack. Rectangular main body. Slate roofed lean-to extension to
the rear, not of special interest. l½ storeys. Roadside front:
three 4-light oriel windows all supported on wooden brackets and a
small single-light casement to the ground floor; two 2-light
eyebrow dormers with leaded panes. C20 plank door with decorative
hinges towards the left gable end under a gabled concrete tile
canopy. Canted 4-light oriel window to the first floor of the
right gable end on plastered coving. Half-hipped right gable end
with small lean-to extension, possibly a bread oven, with C20 brick
stack. Interior not inspected.
