Farmhouse, C17 and late C18, of red brick, with thatched roof. 'L' shaped plan of
2 storeys. Earlier range to north. Principal facade to south 3 windows with central
part glazed panel door. Timber doorcase with pilasters, entablature and cornice.
Sash windows with glazing-bars and segmental brick arches. Blocked window semi-circular
brick arch in west gable wall at ground floor level. Parapet gables with end stacks.
Rear range has evidence of brick-work of several periods. Section of plinth has
moulded plinth bricks and re-used stone blocks. 3 windows and raised and fielded
6 panel door with plain timber doorcase. Mainly late C19 casement windows. Crown
glass in leaded lights of first floor window at south end. 3 eye brow dormers with semi-
circular 3 light casement windows. 2 axial stacks coincide with parapets of former
external gables. Northern gable early C18 with brick tumbling in. North parapet gable.
