Low Burn Hall Farmhouse.

GV II

Cottage. Late C17. Sandstone rubble with some quoins and ashlar dressings;
pantiled roof with brick chimney. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central doorway has
rendered jambs and wood lintel; flat stone lintels and projecting stone sills
to 2 ground-floor sashes;chamfered stone surrounds to 2 first-floor rectan-
gular windows, that at left containing mullioned frame. Left end brick
chimney with tall yellow pot. Derelict and empty and roof damaged at time
of survey. Interior; massive arched beam in ceiling of left ground-floor
room has stopped chamfer.
