Pair of cottages. C17 with C19 left bay. Timber framed with plastered
infill on a rubblestone plinth. Left bay rubblestone with brick
dressings. Brick lean-to at left with old tile roof. Main roof concrete
pantiles. 4 bays and 2 storeys. Off-centre glazed door in second bay
from left. 2 left bays (Cornerstones) have 2-light casements, upper
floor ones are horizontal sliding sashes. Right hand 2 bays (Laburnham
Cottage) has 3-light ground floor casements, first floor has two
2-light casements in third bay and one 2-light casement in right bay.
Stacks between middle bays and to gables, right hand one with rubblestone
base and offsets. Interior has inglenook fireplace and chamfered and
stopped spine beams.
