Public House and restaurant. cl7 with Cl8 refronting and later
alterations. Buff brick with chequer pattern of blue headers. Hipped
tiled roof with 3 rectangular brick chimneys, with moulded bases,
heads and centre pilasters;moulded wooden eaves cornice. 2-storeys,
plinth and lst floor hand. South west front has 5 widely spaced
bays, 2-light cross casements to 1st floor, 3, 4 and 2-light to ground
floor with central semicircular headed entrance with recessed modern
door; south east front has 2 bays, blank recesses on LH, 2-light cross
casements to RH, modern porch with hipped roof in centre. Modern additions
at rear. Large inglenook fireplace with cambered lintel in otherwise
altered interior.
