Cottage. Circa early C19. Painted and rendered stone rubble with slate roof with
gable ends. Large stone rubble chimney stack with brick shaft at rear gable end at
junction with earlier range.
Cottage of 2-room plan at right angles to road. It was either a pair of 1-room plan
cottages, one with entrance at lower end to road and the other cottage with first
floor side entrance reached by steps in the yard to right, or the lower end doorway
was originally to a store with a 2-room plan house above.
3 storey regular single window gabled front with part glazed C20 4-panelled door in
centre. 4-pane sash to first and second floor directly above. Ground rises to rear
and stone rubble steps lead up to side entrance. Open painted brick porch on side
forming entrance to first floor 4-pane sash to right and above right.
