Dame Anna's Farmhouse

House. Early C16 and earlier. Open hall house. Timber framed and plastered,
with red brick facade, and red plain tile roof. 2 storeys. 3 window range,
vertical sliding sashes with glazing bars and side-lights and leaded casements
at east end, at first floor, and 2 similar sashes and 1 three light casement
to ground floor. 2 storey, C16 jettied and gabled porch, with moulded oak
doorcase inside. Red brick lean-to and single storey extension. Late C16 red
brick inserted concertina chimney stack. Internally the frame survives
including service passage at east end, and C16 inserted first floor in hall.
Moated site. (RCHM 7).
