7/114 Pan's Meadow Cottage

II

Cottage. C17, altered and extended early C19. Coursed limestone
rubble, ashlar quoins and dressings, Collyweston slate roof
having raised stone coped gables, one ball finial, single ridge
and gable stacks, stone bases, red brick tops. L-plan. 2
storey, 3 bay front having off-centre half glazed door with
wooden lintel. To right, 2 three light plain casements with
segmental heads and to first floor a pair of 2 light casements to
eaves. Early in C19 the separately gabled left hand bay was
constructed to form a picturesque group.
