House. Early-mid C19. For the Roper family. Coursed rubble, stone slate
roofs. U-shaped plan, with main block of double-depth plan, 2 storeys and
loft, 5 bays, with 2-storey service wing to rear left and single-storey
range to rear right. South elevation: quoins. Central part-glazed door
below overlight with diagonal glazing bars in ashlar architrave. 4-pane
sash windows with concrete lintels on ground floor and flat arches on first
floor. Shaped kneelers, ashlar coping. Corniced end stacks. Outbuilding
extending rear left wing not of special interest.
