Pair of houses. Mid C18. Probably by Matthew Ward (Swinton estate records). Stone, rendered, with graduated stone slate roof. Three storeys, two bays. Central arched doorway with plain surround on a plinth with double keystone, voussoirs and imposts. To each side a sash. First floor: two four-pane sashes. Second floor: two teo-pane side-sliding sashes. All windows have plain surrounds, those on ground and first floors have projecting stone sills. End stack to left.
