House, divided into two tenements. C17 with C19 alterations. Square-panelled timber framing with painted brick and wattle-and-daub infill; stone slate roofs. Rectangular plan with later additions to east and to rear (north): axial and end stacks, entrance to south front. Two storeys with upper floor jettied at east end on curved brackets with shafts to wall posts. Sand decorative pendants. South front: central gabled section with two two-light C20 glazing bar casement windows. Ground floor with one two-light casement window and a pair of two-light windows with decorative glazing, and one two-light window, all to left of doorway with gabled canopy and ledged door. Two-light casement window to right. (RCHM, Vol III, p 166, item 36).
