School, now seven dwellings. 1850, restored 1927 with some late C20 alterations. purple brick with yellow brick dressings and tile roof. L-plan, former boys' school in limb extending to south-west, girls' school in limb extending to south-east. South-west front: to left gable of boys' school, single storey with three stepped lancets with Gothic revival iron casements; to right girls' school, two storeys to left, one to right; two-storey part: gabled to left with two lancets over three lancets, slightly recessed part has three windows over three; schoolroom to right has two sets of three windows flanking a central gable with two lancets, shield over them bearing the inscription "Girls" School/ 1850"; entrance roughly central in two-storey portion; return front of boys' school is almost a mirror image of the girls' school.
