The description shall be amended to read:

Early C18 house of 3 storeys, 3 windows in brown brick with red brick dressings,
re-fenestrated with recessed sashes in C19. Brick strings above 1st and
2nd floors, and panelled, brick parapet. On ground floor the Waxhouse
Gate at left and a modern, but unobtrusive shop front. Rainwater head
dated 1723. 1914-18 war memorial tabled set in wall, one of a series of
wall plaques in St Albans which commemorate the fallen of individual streets
and localities.
