Garden walls. Early C17, laid out by 1st Earl of Salisbury. 3
sides in U plan on N side of river Lee. About 4 metres high.
Set back in centre of N side in semi-decagon recess. Flanking
walls have deeply sloping buttresses at regular intervals.
