GV II

House, now 2 houses. C17 or earlier, altered and brick front C19. Timber
frame, N end dark weatherboarded, grey brick front. Steep old red tile
roof. Set on a bank above village pond facing E beside Gothick House
(q.v.). 1 1/2-storeys former 3-cells, internal chimney plan house with 3
gabled dormers rising through the eaves. Large chimney in front
roofslope a third from S end. Later small chimney in front roofslope a
third from N end. Taller S part of Waters Edge not of special interest.
