Former house, extended, now 2 dwellings. Early to mid C17, extended and
refronted in C19, altered C20. Timber frame, part weatherboarded and
roughcast. Extended and refronted in stock brick, whitewashed. Tiled
roofs. Originally 2 cells. 2 storeys. This is Partridge Hall Farm
Cottage to left, C20 casements in reveals with ground floor cambered
heads. Left end weatherboarded with an entrance and 1 and 2 light
casements. Steeply pitched roof. Roughcast to rear with an entrance, 1
and 2 light casements. Ridge stack at original right end is extended
onto ridge of C19 2 bay 2 storey addition, similar windows, shallower
pitch to roof. Parallel block to rear of C19 bays. Twin gables to right
end, external stacks with moulded caps to paired octagonal shafts,
cusped bargeboards, central entrance with rectangular fanlight.
Interior: stop chamfered axial binding beam and fireplace lintel.
Exposed jowled posts, cambered tie beams, clasped purlin roof in Partridge
Hall Farm Cottage.
