House. Late C18 or early C19. Matching E bay later C20. Red brick, front
in grey brick. Steep slated roof. A 2-storeys, end-chimneys, central
entrance, 2-cells plan house set back from road facing N. A row of
cottages formerly stood in front on roadside. Designed as a symmetrical
2 windows-wide house with central door. Almost flush triple casement
windows with very small panes, larger central light, louvred shutters,
and cambered arches to ground floor windows. 6-panels fielded door and
renewed doorcase with fluted pilasters and flat hood. Carefully matched
E bay extension. Included for group value.
