House. Early C17 with C19 and C20 alterations. Timber-frame with lath and
plaster infill on ashlar basement, plain tile roof, large lateral ashlar
stack with brick shaft and single storey brick lean-to against it to left.
Front gabled, 3 storeys, two of timber-framing; a C19 casement on each floor,
that on the second floor retaining C17 ovolo mullions; ground floor casement
in chamfered surround off centre left; entrance roughly central with C19
segmental corrugated iron canopy. Framing: 2 structural bays, 6 square panels
high to wall-plate; truss: 2 collars with multiple queen struts and curved
raking struts in apex, purlins renewed. Interior: stone jambs to second
floor fireplace with moulded edge to mantel shelf.
