4/46 Walls and gates to
Sunbury Court

GV II

Walls and gates. Mid-late C18. Colourwashed, rendered brick on entrance and dun
coloured brick on return stretch facing the street. Concave curved entrance walls
at an angle to the street, return wall to left. Plinth approximately two feet
high with wall set back above. Piers on outer ends approximately ten feet high
and square with arched recessed panel on front face under keyed head, rising up
through plat band, and impost blocks. Pyramidal tops on moulded cap. Similar
inner piers with spherical finials in foliate sockets. Main gates now gone.
Return wall to right approximately six feet high with brick-on-edge coping.
