Four chest tombs. Early C18. Limestone. Lettered north to south
and east to west.
a) Unidentified. End panels treated as single lyre-shape units
with carved foliage. North side has 2 oval inscription panels
with floral borders: lettering eroded. Moulded base, cyma
recta moulded slab.
b) Unidentified. Plain rectangular chest with italic rhyming
inscription incised to north side; south side collapsed at time
of resurvey (July 1986). Cyma recta moulded slab.
c) Panting family. Earliest date 1728. Plain rectangular chest
with Roman and italic lettering to each side. Cyma recta
moulded slab.
d) Panting family. Earliest date 1729. Plain rectangular chest
with Roman and italic lettering to each side. Chamfered slab.
