A C17-C18 timber-framed and plastered house. Renovated in the C20. One storey and attics. Casement windows (C20). Roof thatched, with two sloping roofed dormers. The doorway has an unusual thatched hood supported on a half cart wheel.

Malting Farmhouse, No 51 (The Cottage), Thatch End, Nos 66 and 67 form a group.
