Sculptural group. Mid C19. Limestone, near life-size statues of the Four Elements on plinth. Reputedly bought by the Marquess of Westminster in the Paris Exhibition 1855 or 1867, for the gardens surrounding Fonthill Abbey (1846 by William Burn, demolished 1955).
