5/84 Kingsdown Cottage
and Nether Cottage

Hall house, now 2 houses. C15 clad C20. Timber framed and
clad with rough cast with plain tiled roof. Three framed bays.
Two storeys and hipped roof with stack centre right. Irregular
fenestration of 3 metal casements on first floor and 1 on ground
floor with glazed door left and conservatory right. Catslide
outshot left. Interior: crown post roof, square section
unmoulded posts braced to tie beams with arched tie beam over
originally open hall bay. Dragon beams for jetties in end
bays - the house originally a small Wealden.
