Hotel, formed by original hotel to right and house to left. Late C18/early C19. Rendered, stone window dressings, slate roofs, rendered end stacks and one ridge stack to main range. 2 formerly separate single ranges, adjoining, with extensions to rear around courtyard. Main range to right (No 22) - 3 storeys with cornice and parapet. 3 windows, glazing bar sashes and casements, mainly arranged as triple light, with 2 canted glazing bar sash bays on ground floor to right of carriage arch with moulded timber architraves and cornice. Adjoining house to left (No 21) - 2 storeys and attic. 2 windows, glazing bar sashes to first floor, flat roofed dormers with casements to attic. Central panelled door.
