Town house, now shops/dwellings. Probably C17 with C19
refronting. Timber-frame with painted brick front; tile roof,
with some C20 renewal; brick stacks to rear of ridge. 3-unit
plan. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Top modillioned cornice. Two
C20 shop fronts flank entrance to No.18A which has C20 door.
Windows to 1st floor have C20 casements. INTERIOR: exposed
chamfered beams. Probably originally a rear wing to No.23
Greenhill Street, Old Thatch Tavern (qv). Included for group
value.
