GV II

House, now divided. C16 with C17 cross wing to right. Timber framed,
clad in coursed galleted Bargate stone with brick dressings. Plain tiled
roofs. Two storeys on plinth with gabled cross wing to right end.
Corbelled ridge stack to right of centre. Two through-eaves hipped
roof dormers to left with leaded casement windows. One three-light
leaded casement window to ground floor right and one two-light window
above. Projecting brick-edged diamond shaped panel in gable to right
containing almost obliterated inscription. One door under braced hood
to left hand return front (Apple Tree Cottage) further ribbed door
under bracketed hood to right of centre (Ross Cottage).
