House now partly surgery. C15 hall house with C17 additions. Timber framed on stone plinth, ironstone rubble and brick infill to left hand return front, underbuilt in whitewashed brick to front tile hanging above to left and in gables to right. Plain tiled roof with large inserted ridge stack to left of centre. L shaped plan with three bay crosswing to left, gable front facing the street, adjoining two bay hall to north with three C17 jettied gables to right. Two storeys, jettied on first floor left with moulded dragon post to angle, brick plat band over ground floor right. One leaded casement window in left gable, three three-light leaded casements to right, one under each gable; two glazing bar casements to ground floor left, one four-light leaded casement under cambered head to right of centre, plate glass shop front to right end. C20 stable style planked door to right end, C20 ribbed and studded door to right of centre. Left hand return front (south) jettied first floor on brackets, rendered infill above to exposed framing.

Interior: considerable framing visible, two arched service doorways survive with screen, brackets and moulded beam. Crown post, braced four ways in roof.
