TQ 06NE BOROUGH OF ELMBRIDGE WALTON BRIDGE APPROACH

Post. c1860. Circa 3½ feet high . Metal. Four legged plinth with chamfered pier
above. Moulded capital band with pyramidal top. City of London shield cast on
the front. Lettering below on pier. Coal and wine tax post indicating the boundary at which duty was payable, that on coal dating back to the 1660's.
