House, now shop and office. Early to mid C18 with extensive
C20 alterations and additions. Brick with ashlar dressings;
parapeted roof with brick end stacks. Early Georgian style. 3
storeys; symmetrical 5-window range. Top frieze, cornice and
stone-coped brick parapet; quoins. Ground floor has late C20
shopfront with Tuscan columns flanking entrance and Tuscan
antae, frieze and cornice, totally glazed Upper windows have
moulded ashlar sills and brick aprons, rubbed brick flat
arches with keys over 12-pane horned sashes, the central 1st
floor window with segmental head, eared architrave with key
and ashlar apron, the central 2nd floor window has eared and
shouldered architrave with key. Rear has large C20 wing.
INTERIOR has no remaining features of interest.
