War Memorial in Tower Gardens

II

War memorial commemorating First World War, with inserts
relating to Second War. 1921 by Oswald Milne. Stone. Octagonal
plinth with 3 steps. Square pedestal with fielded panels to
each side bearing inscriptions. Chamfered edges have panels
with names of battles. On pedestal is a square base carrying
an octagonal shaft terminating in Latin cross.
