House, now house and cottage. Mid C19. Brick; hipped Welsh
slate roof; 2 brick stacks to right and rear.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 3-window range: central 6/6 sash, flanked
by 8/8 sashes; under segmental arches; stucco architraves.
Central entrance: 4-panel door with overlight and sidelights,
in stucco porch with entablature and parapet on square
columns; flanked by 6/6 sashes; stucco storeyband over; stucco
pilasters. Left returned side: central blocked opening,
flanked by 6/6 sashes. Tripartite window with 2/2: 6/6: 2/2
sashes; blocked opening, partly obscured by late C19/early C20
canted bay, to right - rusticated stucco with modillioned
cornice; 3 plain sashes. Various sashes to rear, some with
louvred surrounds.
Former service wing to north, now partly Oakleigh Cottage: 3
storeys; hipped Welsh slate roof; brick ridge stack, and C20
stack.
West front has 3, 3/3 sashes under yellow brick segmental
arches; 3/3 sashes over. Central entrance: 4-panel door under
simple hood, flanked by C20 flat-roofed bays with metal
casements. South front: similar sashes.
