Two houses. C18. Coursed regular ironstone rubble with thatched roof. 2
brick end stacks. Old Thatch: 2-unit plan, single storey plus attic. C20
door has arched stone lintel with rosettes in spandrels. Doorway flanked by 2
wooden casments: 2-light to left: 3-light to right. Both have stone flat
arches. Two 2-light wooden casements to first floor. Thatched hipped canopy
porch supported on stone corbels. Interior not inspected. Lorien Cottage to
left: Single-unit plan, single storey plus attic. Single 3-light wooden
casement to left of door, 2-light casement to first floor has stone flat
arched lintel. Thatched canopy porch similar to Old Thatch. Interior: Stop-
chamfered beams and bressumer to fireplace in ground floor room. Wooden winder
stair to attic floor.
