C16 with C18 shop fronts, similar framed, triple gabled front, modern
mock half-timber and plaster, overhanging 1st floor. Tiles, Three C18
rainwater heads. Rear of No 32 faces Glover's Yard and is almost in
original condition, half-timber exposed, overhanging 1st floor, early
windows and exposed beamed 1st floor room. Chief features of Market
Bill front are 3 bow C18 shop fronts with original glazing bars, with
3 pairs of carved brackets supporting overhanging cornice under 1st
floor. No 32 has pair of glazed doors with glazing bars to upper panels,
and one 2-panel door with oblong fanlight. No 38, 3-panel door with
glazed upper panel. Passage way to Glover's Yard. One 1st floor window
under etch gable, 3-light, side windows sash, centre mullion transom
casement.
All listed buildings in Market Hill form a group around The Shire Hall.
