Town house in planned row. Early/mid C19. Stucco on masonry;
hipped slate roof with projecting eaves and central axial
stuccoed stacks. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys over basement
with single-storey porch on the right; 2-window range.
Original hornless sashes, with glazing bars, except for
slightly later canted bay to first-floor right; stucco
rustications to basement; first-floor sill string and moulded
eaves cornice with central and end consoles (also to return
walls). Porch has broken parapet slightly set back on
consoles; doorway is set back within porch and has 6-panel
door and small-paned overlight within moulded doorcase flanked
by panels with key pattern. INTERIOR not inspected but likely
to be of interest. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: closely-spaced
wrought-iron railings with fleur-de-lis finials and turned
stanchions flank granite entrance steps and return over
forecourt plinth and include gate to basement.
