GV II

Farmhouse. Probably C18, remodelled in mid C19; altered.
Coursed squared sandstone rubble with quoins, slate roof,
brick chimneys. Rectangular double-depth double-fronted plan.
Two storeys and 2 windows, almost symmetrical; a small C19
porch offset left of centre, with a round-headed doorway and
hipped roof; 2 vertical-rectangular windows on each floor, all
with raised sills and plain surrounds, and all now with
altered glazing. Small brick chimney to left. Rear: doorway
near east end, two 3-light casement windows on each floor, and
brick chimney on slope of roof. Forms group with associated
barn (qv), cart shed and stable (qv) and stable/granary (qv).
