Pair of attached houses. c1840. Limestone ashlar with party
wall stacks and a pantile hipped roof. Double-depth plan. Each
of 2 storeys, attic and basement; 2-window range. A
symmetrical front has pilasters framing outer doorways and to
the centre, to a frieze and cornice, and attic storey under
the eaves. Outer doorways have pilasters to a dentil cornice,
overlight and 2-panel door, with later open porches in front.
Ground-floor windows have bracketed cornices; 6/6-pane sashes,
narrower over the doors, and 3/3-pane attic sashes. INTERIOR
not inspected.
