House, now a cafe. Early C19. Coursed limestone rubble with
Ham Hill stone plinth and architrave to the door, slate roof
with stepped stone coping and brick stack to left gable end.
Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Gauged flat
stone arches over 8/8-pane sashes in forward frames, that over
the door is slightly narrower. To the left of the door is a
stepped-forward bay, probably a former shop window, of larger
8/8-panes with moulded pilasters, consoles and cornice.
INTERIOR: to the left front room is a late C19 black marble
fireplace and to the rear is an early C19 stick-baluster
staircase.
