GV II

Pair of cottages. Early/mid C19. Slatestone rubble with
slatehanging to 1st floor of front; rag slate roof tarred to
Windsor cottage, cement-slurried to Swan Cottage. Mirror-image
pair of 1-room plan cottages plus ope on the right and later
lean-to at far right. 2 storeys; 3-window range including
extra window over ope doorway on right. Pair of doorways
central to the cottages with divided boarded doors. Windsor
Cottage has original 16-pane, 2-light casement windows; Swan
Cottage has later 4-pane, 2-light casements. INTERIOR of
Windsor Cottage has original exposed ceiling joists and
floorboards and straight-flight stair with winders to chamber
above.
