Pair of estate cottages. 1841, by Mr Wheeler for Joseph Neeld. Built of
coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and stack and stone-cope
gabled stone slate roofs. Double-depth plan in 2 storeys with 2-window
front and entrances in projecting bays set at right angles to either
side. Tudor Revival style. Hood moulds over chamfered stone-mullioned
windows of 3 lights to front, each front elevation being articulated by
fine Jacobean stack rising between paired gables. Similar 2-light
windows to side elevations, and chamfered
