Detached cottage. Mid C18, with C19 addition to the east. Rubblestone plinth and cob walls, partly rebuilt in brick. Thatch roof with gable end and half hip at east end. Brick stacks, renewed at left gable, and at ridge right hand. 1 and a half storeys. 3 windows, C19 cast iron casements at left ground, remainder are C20 metal casements of 2, 3, and 4 lights. Cambered brick arches to ground floor, eyebrow dormers to first floor. Front door, left of centre, plank, Cl9. Brick porch, with thatch porch canopy over. C19 addition has rubblestone walls and brick quoins under same thatch roof. Small outhouse on west end under steep, hipped slate roof. (R.C.H.M. Dorset II, p.186 (4).)
