School and Master's House. Dated 1856. Two parts, school to left, Master's house to
right. School. Ashlar plinth, squared rubble with red brick dressings. Slate roof.
One-storey; 7 window front. Gabled semi-dormers to left, the window with pointed
arched head. To right 3 windows either side of doorway. Large casement with wooden
mullions and gauged heads. Round-headed doorway, now blocked, with datestone above.
Master's House. Coursed galletted rubble stone with red brick dressings.
Cross-gabled slate roof, with central brick stack. Three neo-Elizabethan stacks with
toothed cornices, grouped together. One-storey and attic; 2 window front, with one
window in gable. Casements with gauged heads. Entrance to right with pointed arch
and part-glazed door. Wing to rear with double off-ridge stack in similar
neo-Elizabethan style.
