GV II

2 houses, now building society offices. c1820, with late C20
alterations. Ashlar, painted, with ashlar dressings. Roof not
visible. Single side wall brick stack. String courses, sill
band, low coped parapet. 3 storeys; 4 x 3 windows. Market
Place front has four 12-pane sashes and above, four 9-pane
sashes. Right return, to Stockwell Gate has similar
fenestration with 3 windows. Ground floor has full-width late
C20 shop front on both sides, with granite piers and wooden
fascia. Recessed corner entrance with glazed double door.
