Row of 5 small town houses. c.1840, altered. Red brick in
Flemish bond, with sandstone dressings and slate roof.
Double-depth plan, each house single-fronted, with individual
back extensions. Two storeys over cellars, each house with 2
windows at 1st floor; with stone plinth, deep 1st-floor band,
plain frieze and moulded gutter cornice. Each has the doorway
to the left, with a moulded stone architrave and a cornice on
consoles which have guttae; one window at ground floor with
raised sill and wedge lintel with keystone, and 2 windows
above with raised sills, those at No.3 all sashed without
glazing bars (the upper leaves smaller) but all the others
altered. Ridge chimneys. Rear and INTERIORS not inspected.
