Pair of small town houses. Mid C19, altered. Red brick in
Flemish bond, with sandstone dressings and slate roof.
Double-depth plan, each house single-fronted, with coupled
back extensions. Two storeys over cellars, each house with 1
window at 1st floor; with stone plinth, 1st-floor sill-band,
plain frieze and moulded gutter cornice. The doorways, forming
a triplet in the centre with a through-lobby doorway between,
have moulded architraves and cornices on consoles which have
guttae; each house has one window on each floor, all with
raised sills and wedge lintels with keystones, those at No.29
sashed but those at No.28 with altered glazing. Ridge
chimneys. Rear and INTERIORS not inspected.
