A red brick front to an earlier timber-framed and plastered building, formerly
2 houses. It now comprises a main block with later extensions on the north
and south ends, in similar style. 2 storeys and cellars. The main block
has 6 window range, the north extension, with a higher eaves level, has 3
window range (2 on the first storey) and the south extension, with a lower
caves level, has 3 window range, double-hung sashes with glazing bars in
the first storey windows. The windows in the north extension are without
glazing bars. A raised brick band runs between the storeys and there is
a brick plinth. The main block has an 8-panel door with a good Roman Doric
wood doorcase with panelled reveals, fluted pilasters, a triglyph frieze
with rose paterae and a pediment. Roof tiled, with moulded wood eaves cornices.
Gabled wings extend east at the rear.

Nos 7, 9 and 15 form a group with Nos 6 to 18 (even) and 18A.
