3 town houses with later shops. C18, front remodelled in the
C19. Stuccoed front; steep asbestos slate roof with brick end
stacks. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; overall 5-window range.
No.51 (right) has 2 early C19 16-pane hornless sashes over
projecting mid C19 small-paned double shop front with quadrant
return lights and moulded entablature with fascia. No.53 has
similar but slightly later shop front with 2-panes per light,
both with glazed doors and overlights; house doorway right of
No.53 with 2-pane overlight and C20 door. No.55 has large
early C20 three-light transomed oriel with 2-light casement
and single return lights; shop front of similar date with
doorway on its left but original glazing replaced with 1 pane
of plate glass. INTERIOR not inspected.
