24/09/87 Entrance gates to Haslam Park

II

Gatepiers, gates, steps and flanking walls. 1910. Sandstone
and wrought-iron. Flight of 20 stone steps flanked by
rock-faced walling leads to tall rusticated square gatepiers
with prominent corniced caps, supporting double wrought-iron
gates with elaborate cresting. Additional smaller double gates
to left, with cast-iron piers. The whole linked to simple
rusticated outer piers by cast-iron railings including
standards with urn finials.
